Bryan Greene is Vice President of Policy Advocacy at the National Association of REALTORS® where he oversees all legislative and regulatory advocacy on behalf of the association’s 1.5 million members. Bryan manages a team of experts who represent the association in Washington on all real-estate matters, A to Z. Bryan joined NAR in November 2019, after decades of federal service, which included ten years as the highest-ranking career official in HUD’s Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity (FHEO). There, he oversaw a 600-person office charged with enforcing the nation’s housing anti-discrimination laws and managed a $150 million budget. Bryan was the 2007 recipient of the Presidential Rank Award, the highest honor bestowed upon federal senior executives for outstanding service. Outside his policy work, Bryan writes on history and culture, contributing regularly to Smithsonian Magazine and other publications. He also consults on films. A 2017 article Bryan wrote on the 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival led to his work as a consulting producer on the Academy-Award-winning film, “Summer of Soul.” Bryan earned his degree in Government from Harvard University.
