NAHB Members have a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights from NAHB Chief Economist Robert Dietz, PhD. Dr. Dietz will provide a comprehensive forecast for the economy in the year ahead, covering key industry metrics such as long-term interest rates, changing household demographics and the impact of policy actions on the economy. His expert analysis will equip attendees with the knowledge needed to navigate the evolving housing market.

In addition to this essential economic update, NAHB Members are invited to participate in the Delegates Election for the 2027 NAHB Leadership Council. (Please note that delegates elected during the Meeting of the Members will not be eligible to participate in votes during the Leadership Council directly following the election, as the 2026 Leadership Council year does not end until after this meeting. Additionally, only NAHB Members may vote in the delegate election).

Then, from 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM, the 2026 Leadership Council will meet to close out their leadership year and elect the new NAHB leadership for 2027. In addition to electing association leaders, the Leadership Council plays a critical role in setting priorities and shaping policies that guide NAHB and the housing industry into the future.
