    What It's About

Water-resistive barriers are a critical control layer for managing bulk water, but vapor movement must also be addressed to prevent condensation-related damage in both heating and cooling climates. In this session, builder Will King shares lessons learned after discovering widespread mold caused by condensation in his 1960s-era home. He explains why he chose to replace the original exterior wall assembly and how an airtight envelope paired with moisture- and mold-resistant stone wool insulation can support a healthier, more comfortable home.

    Presented by Zone sponsor, Rockwool.
