    What It's About

This presentation explores the innovative partnership between Sola Impact and its specialized manufacturing facility, ModelZ, which is advancing the delivery of affordable housing through a vertically integrated "factory-built" approach. By transitioning traditional construction into a controlled manufacturing environment, the partnership significantly accelerates delivery timelines and mitigates the rising costs typically associated with urban development. Central to this efficiency is the integration of proprietary AI software, which optimizes every stage from architectural design to supply chain logistics, ensuring precision and a significant reduction in material waste.

The National Laboratory of the Rockies has been working with Sola Impact to quantify the material waste effects and to quantify the benefits of the factory approach. Attendees will learn how this scalable model combines industrial speed with technical solutions to create high-quality, sustainable housing units that address the urgent demand for affordability without compromising on structural integrity or environmental impact.
