Tara Whiteley is the current First Vice President of the York County Democratic Women’s Council and previously served as the Senior Strategist for the Evangeline Hundley for Congress campaign. Her involvement with the York County Democratic Party began just one year ago at the 2024 County Convention, where she immediately took on an active role as a delegate to the State Convention. Motivated by a desire to make a meaningful impact, she quickly immersed herself in party initiatives.

With 13 years of experience in social media and digital marketing within the homebuilding industry, Tara currently works as a Digital Marketing Manager. Before transitioning into this field, she spent several years as a newspaper journalist. She hopes to leverage her expertise in communications and marketing to strengthen Democratic campaigns and advance Party initiatives in the future.

Beyond politics, Tara is deeply engaged in her community. She has served as her HOA president for the past eight years and currently chairs the Professional Women in Building Council. Additionally, she sits on the board of the Homebuilders Association of Greater Charlotte.
