Andy Skarda
Andy Skarda
Association of Professional Builders Spring, Texas
Andy transitioned from a legal career to business over 30 years ago. In his 20s, he served as a director of a property development company, and since then, he has owned and led businesses in South Africa, the United States, Southeast Asia, and for the last decade, Australia. He grappled with the challenges of running a profitable business until he realized two key factors: all businesses can be broken down into five functional disciplines, and success stems from creating, developing, and repeating successful systems. Driven by this understanding, Andy became an Executive Business Coach (and then Head Coach) at the Association of Professional Builders, helping building industry business owners succeed without the need to return to school or risk financial ruin. He has two grown sons and four growing granddaughters. A passionate rugby union supporter, he also enjoys scuba diving and occasionally skydiving, relishing the thrill of jumping from a perfectly serviceable aircraft.
