Cody Byrd lives in the beautiful Catawba Valley foothills of North Carolina. Cody holds the designations of Accredited Master Builder, Accredited Remodeler, Certified Graduate Remodeler, Certified Aging in Place Specialist, Certified Green Professional, and is an Unlimited Licensed Building Contractor. Cody started, hands on, in the industry at a young age helping his family in the trades before becoming a general contractor. He has run a successful and award-winning design-build firm specializing in Remodeling/Custom Home Building business for nearly 20 years. Cody is very passionate in the home building industry and recently served the North Carolina Home Builders Association as state president in 2024. He currently serves on several national committees and councils. He likes to attend local high school and technical school programs to talk to younger people about the amazing opportunities in the construction industry. In 2019, Cody joined the North American Alair Homes franchise group to better serve his clients, employees, and trade partners with a great experience on their project and work with well over 100 other office locations to promote that "living better starts here." Cody is an avid reader and will likely share some great stories and book recommendations. He took his family on a 60-day road trip across the USA and really learned a lot about how to elevate his team to the next level while "letting go of the vine" to give them the opportunity to flourish.
